Leighton Meester – aka Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf – has been recruited by L’Oreal as the new face of Biotherm.

The 27-year-old actress has risen to fame as one of the stars of the television show, which has become a cult hit, and will soon be more well-known. She will be in several fims in 2014, including: The Judge, with Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall; Life Partners, with Adam Brody; and Like Sunday, Like Rain, with Debra Messing.

Meester seems to be following in the footsteps of her co-star, Blake Lively, who has already appeared in campaigns for a number of fashion labels and luxury brands.

But this isn’t Meester’s first gig as a brand ambassador – in 2011 she appeared in ads for Missoni and Vera Wang.
